Volunteering
Volunteer and be the best you can!
Volunteering can help you to be the best you can, by not only giving you a sense of achievement through helping others, but it also gives you the opportunity to:
- Learn new skills
- Share existing hobbies and skills (e.g. reading, gardening, cards, pool, chess, and music)
- Meet new friends and be part of a team
- Build confidence
- Make a difference.
Volunteers can donate as little or as much time as they like by assisting residents to participate in special events and outings, regular activities, or by just having a chat and sharing quality one-on-one time.
Some of the areas where our valued volunteers assist include:
- Bus Driver
- Grounds beautification
- Canteen - Jesse's Place
- Library services
- Heritage centre
- Resident activities
- Visitor to residents.
All volunteers require a current Police check.
