Volunteering

Volunteer and be the best you can!

Volunteering can help you to be the best you can, by not only giving you a sense of achievement through helping others, but it also gives you the opportunity to:

  • Learn new skills
  • Share existing hobbies and skills (e.g. reading, gardening, cards, pool, chess, and music)
  • Meet new friends and be part of a team
  • Build confidence
  • Make a difference.

Volunteers can donate as little or as much time as they like by assisting residents to participate in special events and outings, regular activities, or by just having a chat and sharing quality one-on-one time.

Some of the areas where our valued volunteers assist include:

  • Bus Driver
  • Grounds beautification
  • Canteen - Jesse's Place
  • Library services
  • Heritage centre
  • Resident activities
  • Visitor to residents.

All volunteers require a current Police check.
